Setting up a new venture around an entirely new concept is no easy feat. But with support from the East Midlands Chamber and its £2,000 Accelerator Growth Voucher, we’ve been able to strengthen and scale the sales infrastructure behind our innovative agri-tech product, the Soil Acoustic Meter (SAM).
Designed for use by arable and pastoral farmers, agronomists, wine growers, food producers, and land or estate managers worldwide, SAM has the potential to generate a significant volume of soil health data across industries. From the outset, it was crucial that our systems were built to support that scale of customer acquisition.
The Growth Voucher enabled us to automate our Shopify sales channel by integrating it with our customer database. This has significantly reduced the time and resource needed to process international orders and manage customer subscription renewals, tasks that would otherwise be highly manual and time-intensive.
By streamlining both sales and customer data processing, we’ve been able to focus on what matters most: advising customers on how soil acoustics could help with their land management methods, building scientific rigour into the technology and sampling protocols and expanding into new markets.
